Tangy Passion

Day 81

Tangy Passion
4 shots out of 5

Sooooooo, I got a couple new purees!!!

Hip hip hooray!

Utter excitement for me!

One of which is Passion Fruit Puree.

It's a bit tart........wow.

I pulled out the blender and decided to see if I could make a simple blended cocktail using my Passion Fruit Puree and.........Tangy Passion was born.

I gave tonight's cocktail 4 shots out of 5......but I have to say, not every sip tastes the same.

Some are really limey and others are more enjoyable.

I keep going back and forth on whether I want to give it a 3.5 or a 4.

I have had more 4 rating sips then 3.5 sips, so I'm going to stick with 4.

I think next time I might add some cream of coconut or something like that in it to give it a bit of a different taste, but for now, I will surely be finishing this cocktail.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

  1. Oh a drink with rum & passion fruit in it! That's my kind of drink! Maybe I could try the passion fruit rum instead (after of course I try it your way first!)
Where do you buy your puree's from?

    1. I get my purees from our local BevMo store (www.bevmo.com). I just checked the site and apparently they only have stores in 2 of the states, but you can order them on their website (I'm assuming from any state or place). Otherwise the brand is Finest Call and there are different online stores if you do a google search that you could order them from. Also another reader lives more on the East Coast and was able to go to her local huge liquor store and found about 10 different purees. One way or another you can defiantly buy some to try! Good luck & Cheers to purees!!
