9 Cocktails Perfect For St. Patrick's Day

Can St. Patrick's Day really be tomorrow?  I mean seriously?

Last night my husband (EJ) and I went to a Corned Beef & Cabbage Night dinner.  It was fun!  It's nice to get out every so often.  

Now they didn't have any of these drinks like the Irish Car Bomb, Irish Cookie, Nutty Irishman or Irish Coffee there, but that's OK.  The 7/8th vodka to 1/8 cranberry juice with an olive they gave me was just fine!  WOW, I sure like a heavy hand when pouring alcohol!

Tomorrow night I will be slow cooking my Corned Beef and I can NOT wait to eat it!  I got the recipe I am going to use from Stephanie over at A Year Of Slowcooking.  I have made this recipe for the past couple St. Patrick's Days as well as random times during the year.  I loooove this recipe so much!

10 Pi Day Cocktails

Happy Pi Day!  What better way to celebrate Pi Day then with a Pie flavored cocktail?

The weather here has been nice for the last couple days.  

Is our winter weather finally over?  

Gosh I hope so!  

It's rained so much here lately that our oldest hasn't been able to have any home baseball games this season so far.  Today was supposed to be another home game......and even though it's BEAUTIFUL outside........the game is cancelled.  Total Bummer!!

Today I have 10 different AH-MAZE-ING cocktails for you to try.

Actually looking at this fantastic list of cocktails, I might have to have one....or two to celebrate Pi Day myself!

We got a puppy!!!!  Oh and we are just in LOVE with her!!  Her name is Bella.  

Half of us are allergic to animals, so we knew that when the time was right we would have to get a dog that has hair and not fur.  

That narrowed our search down to a Poodle, Bichon, Maltese or Havanese.  

We completely lucked out with finding her.  We think she's a poodle/bichon mix.  She has characteristics of both.  She's 9 months old, so she's spunky, playful, loving and a cuddle bug.

Here she is, the newest member of our family, Bella.

National Drinking Holidays

On many occasions I have searched the internet for the upcoming "National Drinking Holidays".  I have failed to bookmark any of the sites that I have found over the past couple years.......which is frustrating.  

Then I got a great idea!  What if I make my own list so that I will ALWAYS have it?!  Amazing idea Jen.........why didn't you think of it sooner?

I have searched the internet and found not only drinking holidays, but other super fun holidays that you can turn into drinking holiday (always thinking drinking).
