Mele Kalikimaka Martini

Day 299

Mele Kalikimaka Martini
5 shots out of 5

Mele Kalikimaka Martini is the perfect combination of eggnog, pineapple and coconut flavors that will make you think you're enjoying your cocktail on the beaches of Hawaii!

Another Monday.

This is the last week that my husband has of work and then he's off for three whole weeks!!

I'm sooo excited.

Especially with the holidays right around the corner, it will be nice having him home with me and the kids when they are off on their break as well.

I gave tonight's cocktail 5 shots out of 5.

Oh......my........goodness this cocktail is amazing!!

What a nice change compared to the "not so good" cocktails I've had lately.

I am going to have to go out and buy a real bottle of this vodka and some more eggnog so that I can make more of these.

The pineapple flavor in the vodka and the cream of coconut add SUCH a nice twist to this eggnog cocktail.

Who'd have ever thought of this combo?  Someone very smart I must say!  I found tonight's cocktail recipe at barnonedrinks.

Skyy Pineapple Sunrise

Day 186

Skyy Pineapple Sunrise
3 shots out of 5

Sunday is here and here begins the beginning of another week.

Baseball, baseball, baseball is how we spent this weekend and now a BBQ with some friends to end this weekend!

It's nice weather outside and my husbands got the BBQ/smoker going, so we're enjoying the smell of smoke........ok, maybe not enjoying it as much as I'd like.

I gave tonight's cocktail 3 shots out of 5.

I found this cocktail on the Skyy Vodka website.

It calls for both Skyy Pineapple and Skyy Citrus vodkas and since I didn't have the Skyy Citrus vodka, my Smirnoff Citrus will just have to do.

First off, I really like the color of this cocktail.

The beginning flavor of my sips are pretty good and the ending of them is not as good.

I'm glad I tried it, but don't plan on making it again.
