Agent Orange

Day 85

Agent Orange
4 shots out of 5

Happy #NationalSuperHeroDay!!

Yes that's right!  Today April 28th is National Super Hero Day.  Knowing that I knew I needed to introduce you (again) to Agent Orange!

I'll let you two get acquainted!

Agent Orange is a simple yet delicious mix of vodka, Grand Marnier and orange juice.

I'm going to go ahead and admit it right now.

I'm partial to screwdrivers.....I am.

It was (if I remember correctly) my first cocktail that I had, liked and continued having for the next couple years.  Now that I'm thinking about how long ago it was......it's making me realize how many years have passed since I've been in high school......onto tonight's cocktail!!

I gave tonight's cocktail 4 shots out of 5.

I truly do enjoy screwdrivers.

This cocktail, the Agent Orange, adds a little bit more to that flavor.  I think I just might start having either a screwdriver or an Agent Orange every now and again.

It's actually bringing back some good, fun memories and I'm enjoying them as much as I'm enjoying sipping my cocktail.  If you like screwdrivers, give Agent Orange a try.

The Grand Marnier adds a little something to the cocktail, but definitely does not take anything away from it.  If some of your favorite memories don't revolve around screwdrivers, you may not enjoy it as much as I am right now, haha.  Hopefully you will enjoy it some though.

Paradise Punch

Paradise Punch cocktail, fruity cocktail

We have had a few really nice warm days here lately.  The weather has reminded me of fruity cocktails, which inspired me to create a brand new one!

I call this one Paradise Punch..........because seriously.......I need a vacation to Paradise right now.

Our oldest graduates in less then 2 months.  It's a trip when I think about it...kind of like "How did we get here so fast?", but then if I actually stop and think about it.....yea, it's been 18 years.........probably why I need this Paradise Punch?  Yea, definitely one of the reasons!

Did I mention that the kids are on spring break?  Do you remember when spring break actually coincided with Easter?  Yea, me either.  All four of them actually have this week off for spring break.  A week with all of my kids!  Except for the fact that my oldest is 18 and well.......yea.........I see him once in a while.

Don't get me wrong, I remember being 18.  I'm not worried, he's a good kid and he needs to flap his wings and find out what this "Being an Adult" thing is all about.

Then hopefully when he figures that out, he'll explain it to me!!  haha.

This cocktail I just created is similar to my Bahama Mama cocktail that I made quite a few years ago.  Another FANTASTIC cocktail!  I'm thinking I might just need to have a "Paradise Punch Party" for the sole reason as to make this in a big batch and enjoy it with friends!

I mean just look at that cocktail!  Can't you just taste it's deliciousness right through your screen??
