St. Patrick's Day Cocktails - Updated for 2025

Ready or not, St. Patrick's Day is only 4 days away!

Yes, that's right!

But what does that mean?

Well, it means that you better get your cocktails in order.  STAT!

Over the years, I have made and created some pretty amazing cocktails, shooters, and more.  One of my favorite kinds of cocktails to make is a Holiday Cocktail!

They are so much fun to make!  I get to use different ingredients, colors, and decorations in my cocktails and photos, and I think it makes them taste better just knowing that they are a holiday cocktail.

For this round-up, I am going to share with you my St. Patrick's Day cocktails...now I only have a couple green cocktails in there, but if you REALLY wanted to have a green cocktail, I have a crap ton of other green "non St. Patrick's Day" cocktails on my blog that you can choose from.

Do you have traditions that your family does for St. Patrick's Day?  Now that our kids are grown, I no longer dump green food dye into the milk the night before for the kids to find in the morning....so besides eating corned beef, either putting a couple drops of green food coloring into our beers or making a yummy St. Patrick's Day cocktail....we really don't do much anymore.

OK, so onto the reason you are all here......My Collection of St. Patrick's Day Cocktails!

I wanted to start off with my Irish Delight, as the amazing people at Rent.com featured MY COCKTAIL, Irish Delight, in their 8 St. Patrick's Day Party Ideas Post!  It's been a while since I've posted and done much with my blog, so when I was contacted by them and told that they want to feature MY cocktail, I was excited!  Kinda ignited the small fire that was semi lit under my butt about jumping back onto the cocktail train!

Also, a friend of mine has been sending me Instagram reels from a local guy who reviews and tries different recipes that people send him....and that's ALWAYS been something that I've wanted to do (among other ideas I have racing through my head)!  Him sending all of those reels was the initial fire being re-lit...you know.....under my butt (as I mentioned in the paragraph above, lol).

Anyways, I have a good variety of different kinds of cocktails and shooters for you to try on Monday, and here they are!

Irish Cookie

Irish Cookie
2.5 shots out of 5

I absolutely can NOT believe that we finally made it to Friday!

This has been a loooong couple of weeks.  4 sick kids, fevers up to 107.6, 5 ear infections, 4 different kinds of anti-biotics, enough motrin and tylenol to deserve stock in each company......sheeesh.

I do see the light at the end of the tunnel though!  The fevers are gone, the kids are back in school and our anti-biotics are definitely working.  This mom deserves a cocktail......or two.

I gave tonight's cocktail 2.5 shots out of 5.

I found this cocktail on a recipe page from Pinnacle. I have to say, I am not a huge fan of the cookie dough vodka.  Sorry......I know I just crushed some of you out there.

If you are a fan of this flavor of vodka, I think you may just really like tonight's cocktail.  I can see how the Bailey's and milk work well with the cookie dough flavor, it's just not working for me.

I will finish this cocktail, don't get me wrong, but I will find something else to drink after it.

Anyways, I hope you all have a good weekend.  We are having friends over tonight for pizza and.......you guessed it, cocktails!  Then we have a double date scheduled for tomorrow night, BOY do I need a night out.

Here is a photo of the end result:

Here is a photo of the ingredients:

Here is the recipe for an Irish Cookie:

  • 2 oz cookie dough vodka
  • 1 oz Bailey's
  • 1 oz milk

In a shaker, add ice and all of the ingredients above.  Shake and strain your mixture into a martini glass.

Here's to children on the mend and a night out in my future!!

Cheers!!
